Being an unsigned band isn’t easy at the best of times, so any and all assistance truly is appreciated. It was in that environment that Demofest began way back in 2008, a rock festival in Banja Luka’s fortress that began with the twin aims of providing a big stage for unsigned bands across the region, as well as reinvigorating the Ex-Yu rock scene along the way. The three-day extravaganza in July has grown into one of the most anticipated festivals in the area, a thrilling combination of vibrant independent music in a wonderful summer setting.
