Banja Luka has plenty of blank concrete canvases just waiting to be brightened up, and the residential district of Borik is already ahead of the curve. A number of colourful murals have gone up in recent years, and already a little treasure hunt of sorts has presented itself. Keep an eye out for the chicken-topped ‘Find Your Way to Fly’ (the first large mural in town), as well as the weird old man in a boat and the plethora of Borac-themed pieces around the district.
