Sat some 20km north of Banja Luka, the municipality of Laktaši is best known for being the location of Banja Luka International Airport. Anyone thinking this is a place for planes and commuters alone is deeply mistaken, as Laktaši has plenty to offer visitors looking for serenity, entertainment or both. There are a number of attractions within the town of Laktaši itself, historical sights that are full of myth and wonder, not to mention untold healing potential. There is also plenty of wine, which we’re never going to turn our noses up at.
