This Ottoman-era fountain was designed in the style of a kiosk, and originally stood just a few feet away from its current spot. The Mehmed Pasha Kukavica-designed fountain is almost always surrounded by a mass of pigeons, hence the whole ‘Pigeon Square’ thing, so ornithophobes beware.
