A little gem at the top of a hill. The Brđanska Mosque was built over 400 years ago but was only renovated and reconstructed in recent times, a restoration that stayed true to the original design. That means a wooden minaret that stands out both in material and colour, and a focus on community over individuality. A number of tombs are found in the courtyard, and there is also a delightful view towards the centre of town and the Catholic church.
