Brasov is home to a number of regular events, the most famous (or infamous) being the now semi-legendary Cerbul de Aur (Carpathian Stag) Music Festival that takes places each year. (Excepting those years when the organisers don't have the money to put it on, of course).

There is also the excellent philharmonic orchestra to enjoy, as well as the opera.
