Bratislava’s main train station is something of a throwback to the years of communism. Perennially busy, there seems to be a plethora of kiosks and traders where information might be more useful, and the whole thing glows with nostalgia. Of course, efficiency would be nice, but you can’t have it all. It is located some 15 minutes from the old town by foot.
