It might seem strange to recommend checking out a fountain that has long stopped working, but Bratislava’s Fountain of Union is no ordinary water spurter. The largest fountain in the country was built in 1980, just a decade before communism died and projects like this were left to rot. This fountain has become a monument to a forgotten past.
