John Wesley's Chapel

The oldest Methodist chapel in the world — built in 1739 — John Wesley’s Chapel (the New Room, technically speaking) is worth a visit for that fact alone. The aesthetics aren’t going to blow you away but the history oozing out of the walls will, as will its importance and influence. A statue of John Wesley sits outside.
