M Shed

A dockside transit shed doesn’t seem like the most obvious location for a museum, but Bristol isn’t the most obvious of places. M Shed is the place to go if you’re hoping to get a handle on Bristol. It is essentially a love letter to everything the city is and everything the city has been, a heart-shaped homage to the people of Bristol. The museum is chock-full of photographs, movies, memories and more, covering the history of the city from day one to right now. Entry is free.
