A large and iconic fish restaurant on the shore of Lake Herastrau. The place looks fantastic, all simple, bright marine colours, and the menu is a superb mix of local and imported fish and seafood, with a few grilled meat options. The sour fish soup is genuinely fantastic, the pots of fresh mussels big and steamy, and the platter of fried fish intended for two easily feeds four. As with all venues run by the City Grill team, prices are kept as reasonable as possible, and given that this is one of the best locations of any restaurant in the city, we expect it to be a hit. You will need a reservation for the terrace or for a seat by the window during the summer.
