You will also find works of young Romanian designers here, who reinterpreted traditional art in a modern approach. AlbAlb Shop
This is where you’ll find the most interesting of Romanian product design all in one place! With carefully selected artworks and design items from all over the country, this shop is all about special creations made with love by the most talented Romanian artists. If you’re looking to buy something nice for yourself or a gift for someone back home, here you can choose from author jewellery, porcelain and ceramics, leather goods, illustrations, t-shirts, books and original or limited-edition works of art. Dedicated to Romanian design, Dizainar is a cosy shop located near the beautiful Cismigiu Park where you can find over 600 special items, from furniture, lighting fixtures, kitchenware, watches, graphics, to personal accessories, decorations, toys and small series products. The moment you enter this space, you will be blown away by all the cool stuff and the Romanian creativity you’ll discover here! This is the perfect place to buy contemporary souvenirs and support young local artists, and if you can’t decide what to get right away, you can always order from their online store, as they ship anywhere in Europe.

Mesteshukar ButiQ
This unique design shop is something special, as it features works from Roma craftsmen in collaboration with Austrian and Swedish designers. The handmade products you will find here carry not only their stories, but also the stories of their makers and their ancient skills, displaying a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. The boutique features clothes collections, jewellery and beautiful home decor made with clean raw materials and knowledge of the craft passed through a long trial time. The store is located in the heart of Bucharest near University Square and it’s definitely something you shouldn’t miss on your visit.

Circa 1703-3071
This is not your usual vintage shop, but a special boutique filled with carefully chosen items made to bring a smile on your face. The small shop located just a few steps away from Unirii Square features objects with personal history, collected by the owner herself along the years from her trips around Europe. Resembling a small museum, the shop has vintage, antique and one of a kind objects, everything from lighting fixtures and mirrors to ceramics and funky décor pieces.
