Now recommended in the Michelin Guide, this nearly quarter century old restaurant is still presided over by the Half-Russian owner/chef Sasha who merrily serves up Beluga sturgeon, caviar and other delights. The stick-to-your ribs solyanka (meat soup) goes down well with a plate of pierogi (little meat pies) in this cosy little cellar, decked out in Russian murals, which lies at the foot of Castle Hill.
