A crucifix in the logo? Stained glass in the windows? Even the waiters couldn't explain this cellar restaurant/bar's Belgian monastic theme. The high-backed chairs seem designed for Giacometti statues. Portions left us only half-full, and the waiters seemed mostly engaged in conversation with each other. Does the place sound like a dead loss? It's not, mainly because the renovation makes it seem worth lingering in.

Hi, Ate at this place three of our four nights break. Strangely the manager of Carlton, next door, tried to put us off eating there. Best food, huge portions, beautifully presented. Boys loved the beers. Staff were very pleasant, best choice for us and only very short walk back to hotel, do try it yourselves.
