Cádiz might not be renowned as a major shopping destination, but don’t let the relative lack of noise fool you. People have been trading coins for goods here for centuries, and while the vagabond traders of yesteryear have gone there is still a hustle and bustle to shopping in Cádiz that is as inviting as it is tempting. There are also some excellent book shops here, and we’ll never tire of discovering great book shops. On top of all that is the Central Market, one of our favourite markets in all of Europe.
