Ever fancied tackling the waves at an Olympic standard white water rafting centre? This is the spot for you. Opened in 2010, Cardiff International White Water was actually the first on-demand white water rafting centre in the UK, although there is more to it than just being hurtled around by fast water. Actually, that makes rafting sound a lot easier than it actually is, doesn’t it? There are easier courses for young ones, and the centre also organised a number of off-site activities like gorge walking and surfing.
