You can’t beat a City Hall, or at least that is usually the case. Cardiff’s version certainly stands up on its own two feet, a great example of Edwardian Baroque architecture that simply screams respect. It was completed way back in 1906, becoming the fifth town hall in the process. Cardiff became a city during the construction process, meaning this beauty was actually the Welsh capital’s very first City Hall.
