City Hall

Overlooking Lake Mälaren, the Stockholm City Hall is one of Stockholm’s most iconic buildings and best instagrammable spots. Situated on the island of Kungsholmen, this majestic building is a true masterpiece of National Romantic architecture. The Stockholm City Hall is actually a workplace, political office building and one of Sweden’s major party venues (the Nobel banquet is held here every December.) The City Hall can only be visited with a guided tour. Just do not forget to climb the tower for stunning views of Gamla Stan and the entire city!
