St Fagan's National Museum of History

St Fagans National Museum of History      +44 300 111 2333     more than a year ago
St Fagan’s is a charming little village on the outskirts of Cardiff, popular with walkers and castle-aficionados alike, and it is the National Museum of History that acts as its showpiece. This open-air museum tells the story of the Welsh, through clothing to traditions via customs and more. More than 40 buildings are found within the grounds, including a schoolhouse, tannery, and a pigsty (not the same place). Once voted the most popular visitor destination in the whole of the UK, St Fagan’s is a real piece of modern day history.
