Located in a quiet neighbourhood a few kilometres east of the city centre, the Faraon has seen better days, but is priced accordingly and is one of the cheaper options in town. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately depending on your tastes) the Egyptian-themed décor only extends from the lobby to the casino in the basement. A handful of the rooms have been renovated and are worth asking for since they can be had for the same rates, as can those with balconies facing the small waterpark next door.
