History is an intangible thing, and that is something to keep in mind when visiting the Minorite Monastery, or the Monastery of the Minorites of the Poor Clares, to give it its full name. There isn’t a huge amount to see here other than a small exhibit and the ravages of time, but the day we tire of visiting old neglected monasteries is a day we don’t want to acknowledge. There are a number of workshops held here on the reg, along with summer events and autumnal celebrations, keeping alive the spirit of this 14th century beaut.
