One of the most beautiful Danish castles, also a museum, Frederiksborg, is located in a little town of Hillerød, north of Copenhagen, on three small islets. The castle was built at the very beginning of the 17th century in Renaissance style. Behind the castle, the beautiful Baroque garden, to which the entrance is free, is located. Frederiksborg is surrounded by the beautiful lake and a large park, perfect for a run or a relaxing walk.
