Head towards Hotel Excelsior east of the Old Town and you come to this simple family run establishment. Seek their advice and you might just get something a little out of the ordinary – real home cooking. Try succulent lamb baked under an iron bell.

Advised by your site I went to the Pjatanca Konoba and was totally disappointed. Food was far from delicious, portions were very small and prices were similar to those in city centre. There were six of us ordering main dishes and none of us was happy with what we got.

I have been also in Pjatanca, food is excellent. I have tried many restaurants in Dubrovnik but when I tried this I was guest of Pjatanca every night. They have everything (fish, meat and good vines).If you don`t like lamb you can have also veal under the bell, but you have to try smoked ham and cheese in oil as a starter, it is the best in Dubrovnik.
