From June 21 to September 11, the 65th edition of the festival continues this long-standing tradition, bringing a rich cultural programme to some of Hvar’s most remarkable venues from the Arsenal and St. Stephen’s Square to the Franciscan Monastery, the Hvar Theatre and the iconic Veneranda Summer Stage.
This year’s programme features an exciting blend of classical and contemporary music, theatre, exhibitions and traditional Dalmatian culture, bringing together some of Croatia’s most celebrated artists and ensembles.
Among the season’s highlights:
June 21 - The festival opens on World Music Day with a grand open-air concert on Hvar’s main square, featuring the Hvar Brass Band and the Festival Orchestra, joined by acclaimed soloists Dubravka Šeparović Mušović and Roko Radovan.
June 22 - A vibrant performance by Electric Corn, bringing contemporary energy to the festival programme.
July 26Â - The legendary Rambo Amadeus takes the stage at Veneranda with his unmistakable blend of music, satire and performance.
August 1Â - Croatian music icon Josipa Lisac brings her timeless voice and unique artistry to Hvar.
August 7 - One of Croatia’s most influential alternative bands, Pips, Chips & Videoclips, performs at the Veneranda Summer Stage.
August 26 - Join a powerful evening of Dalmatian music with Tomislav Bralić & Klapa Intrade live in concert.
September 11 - A spectacular closing concert on St. Stephen’s Square featuring the HRT Jazz Orchestra & Cubismo, celebrating the festival finale with an unforgettable fusion of jazz, Latin rhythms and big-band energy.
