The world needs more statues of composers, we’ll say that much. Jelsa holds up its end of the bargain with a memorial to Antun Dobronić, the Jelsa-born music man who dedicated his creative life to marrying Croatian folk traditions with high culture. The statue was created by Slavomir Drinković, a sculptor from Jelsa.
