Jan Becher Muzeum

The Jan Becher Museum is the place to go to experience Karlovy Vary’s second favourite attraction – Becherovka. The herbal liqueur, considered medicinal by many a Czech, has been made in the city since 1807, and the museum is located where the drink’s first factory stood. Historical exhibits, a tour of the cellars, insights into the production process, films and tastings all await. One thing you won’t get is the recipe, which has been kept secret for more than 200 years.
