History lovers and sports enthusiasts are attracted by the “Havířská Shed” complex on Kaňk hill less than 3 km from the centre of Kutná Hora. The view tower from so-called “Cyclopean walls” offers an unusual view of Kutná Hora‘s monuments and the surroundings. On Kaňk hill there are many interesting artefacts from the past including the national natural monument, the so-called “intertidal facie”, depressions of a medieval valley or the Calvary, the monument of the Hussites, who were thrown alive into the adits of Kutná Hora.
