A medallion relief of Tyl’s bust was installed on the frontal façade of the house with a description reminding us that Josef Kajetán Tyl was born on 4.2.1808 – the writer, playwright and author of the text of the Czech national anthem, “Where is my home” (Kde domov můj). There is a permanent exhibition in the house dedicated to the life and work of this important personality of the Czech National Revival scene. Visitors can also familiarise themselves here with the exhibition of the “Kutná Hora Underground and its Exploration,” which provides visitors a closer look at the most important and most interesting discoveries of the speleological exploration conducted within the territory of the town of Kutná Hora within the last two decades.
