An Irish pub in Prague. Does it even need a review? This place does because with its location out in the leafy, handsome streets of Vinohrady it’s an altogether more relaxed and less boisterous place to get your standard European Irish pub experience of friendly English-speaking staff, live sports and Irish and British dishes and drinks. Beckett’s is run by one of the city’s most experienced bar owners of the past 25 years and he seems to have placed particular focus on making the kitchen the centrepiece of the establishment with some great looking and even better tasting food courtesy of the antipodean chef. If you’re looking for a bit of Craic that isn’t going to do your head in, this is worth the 2-stop ride from the centre.
