National Museum (Main Building)

The defining monument at one end of Wenceslas Square, the National Museum was completed in 1891. The museum focuses on natural history and when it reopens (planned for 2018) should be a more visitor-friendly space with interactive exhibits and the chance to climb into the building’s dome for a view of Wenceslas Square and into Old Town.
