Rosca - Buhaiova is a protected area filled with lakes, ponds, alluvial meadows, grasslands and woodlands. It gets its protected status because it hosts Europe's largest pelican colony. There are also other bird species such as cormorants, egrets and spoonbills. The mammals found here are wild boar, foxes, European minks, least weasels and Eurasian otters. Regarding the flora, you will be able to see willows, reeds, Typha, yellow water lilies and white water lilies.
