Known as Aarhus’ cultural power plant, the Godsbanen is a warts and all cultural centre committed to embracing, encouraging and educating a whole new generation of artists in the city. Workshops are the norm here, a curious nod to the building’s former function as a goods station in a round about sort of way. Live music, exhibitions, festivals, theatre performances and any of sort of art you can fathom takes place here year, from January to December, whatever the weather. The architecture of the building itself is plenty interesting.
