Dubai enjoys having ‘the world’s largest …’ so it’s perhaps no surprise that the Ibn Battuta Mall proudly holds the title of the ‘world’s largest themed mall’. It’s named after Moroccan explorer Ibn Battuta who was born in 1304. The mall takes its inspiration from some of the countries he visited, including China, Persia, India and Tunisia, which creates an impressive fusion of exotic architecture and design. It’s well worth a visit, even if you’re not a shopaholic.
