Just off Dublin’s main street is this gem of an eatery, an ideal spot for pre-theatre bites if you’re heading to the Abbey. The Philippine dishes are delightfully tasty and great value for money. At lunch time, indulge in the all you can eat menu. A perfect opportunity to sample all that’s on offer. There’s an extensive BBQ menu with locally sourced meats or, if you prefer, try the freshly made sushi. The food is very accessible, but if you’re feeling adventurous why not partake in some Philippine delicacies like boiled pigs ears or Halo Halo - a traditional fruit, bean, cream and caramel dessert. If, like me, your eyes are bigger than your stomach, ask to parcel your leftovers to go. And if you fall in love with the food, they also have the Philippine market ALTOFOOD a few doors down at No. 66 (open daily 10:00-19:00).
