What to See

National Leprechaun Museum

Jervis St, D1 Dublin Ireland       (+353)(0)1 873 3899 more than a year ago

Ireland's world-famous fairy folk now have their very own museum. Journey through an optical illusion tunnel and into the land of the leprechauns. A Giant's Causway landscape leads to the giant's house where super-sized furniture shows how it feels to be a little leprechaun. Umbrellas shelter you from the rainstorm after which the leprechaun's pot of gold appears at the end of the rainbow. Then listen as story-tellers regale with mystical tales flagged up on an Ireland map. Fun stuff that's designed to encourage debate about the importance of ancient tales, no matter what culture you're from.
