more than a year ago
Range of hills, south west of Edinburgh. Covering an area of 90 square km and the hill peaks range between 480 and 580 m above sea level, the highest being Scald Law. Designated a Regional Park in 1986 it offers a wonderful escape into nature for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding golf and camping, not too far from the city.  You can also practice your skiing at the artificial ski slope at the Midlothian Snowsports Centre.
