If you’re on a budget or just enjoy the cosiness of communal living than this place is a good option. Despite having labelled itself a B&B, it's more of a hostel and you'll also have to part with €5 for breakfast. That said, this is by far the most laid back accommodation in the city with one of the finest smoking rooms we've ever encountered on Dutch soil. Even the cuddly house dog is adorable. The clean dormitories come in different sizes with comfortable bunk beds and the lounge area includes games, a pool table and free, altbeit slow, wi-fi. The spacious wet area offers modern toilets and perfect showers that are way above average for a hostel. Its central location, a mere five-minute walk from the best bars and a 15-minute stroll from the station, makes it an ideal base for exploring the city. Unfortunately, the often absent reception staff seem to have gone walkabout quite often, but otherwise this hostel gets a big thumbs up.
