We won't mince words here. Athene is, without a doubt, the best Greek restaurant in town. If you don't believe us just check out how many members of Eindhoven's considerable Greek population frequent this place on a regular basis. Athene has been serving generous portions of authentic Mediterranean cuisine since 1986, but we recommend you forgo the Italian dishes in favour of the Hellenic classics. Don't expect flashy surroundings as the food is the main attraction at this intimate eatery. The friendly owner also knows how to greet a customer, with a free glass of ouzo, to be precise.
