Eindhoven has its fair share of immigrants, many of them originating from Turkey. Thankfully, one of the best Turkish restaurants in town hasn't customised its food to cater to local palates. Cosy Hanedan is decorated with lots of authentic memorabilia and souvenirs from the 'old country' and the staff treats each customer as if he were a king. This may take the rational Dutch by surprise and may even make them a little ill at ease, but we appreciated this genuinely friendly behaviour and found it refreshing. Try the signature cag kebab, a wrap filled with chunks of spicy lamb.
