Despite Holland's flat topography, enthusiasts of alpine endeavours can get their kicks at the artificial climbing walls here. And there must be quite a few fans as Eindhoven actually has two locations. The smaller one at Zuid (Theo Koomenlaan 3) has been catering to beginners since it opened in 2012, while the bigger hall at Noord (1500m2) is the perfect playground for more experienced mountaineers. With a height of 18m and 180 routes to choose from, there's plenty to explore.
