It's easy to write a cynical comment about the very limited opening hours of The Mart or any other food joints of The Strip. However, this place caters mainly to the thousands of white collar workers from the surrounding offices, who only leave their caves/cubicles to eat a healthy lunch here. This giant self-service restaurant has a central courtyard where every centimetre of the long tables is filled with a wide selection of homemade breads and organic rolls, all displayed in attractive ways. We especially liked the mind-boggling selection of soups and the fact that most of the scrumptious dishes made with locally sourced ingredients are dirt cheap. With so many office workers around, it's also easy to make new friends at one of the communal tables, but you should probably avoid the rush hour from 12:00 - 13:00.
