Although it has existed for many years now, Whelp has never really reached adulthood. And though we enjoyed the rustic interior, it’s the food that should impress. If you're only after a quick starter then try the steak tartar, but regrettably the main courses leave much less lasting impressions, with perhaps the exception of the seafood. The attentive staff try to make your visit unforgettable and the affordable wine list certainly helps, but Whelp still has a lot of growing to do.
