This is visually very impressive, set as it is in the re-modelled 19th-century building, which formerly housed the Garrison Commandant, and there’s clearly been a lot of thought put into the concept. The menu encourages you to ‘pair’ food and drink and colour coding gives you suggestions while a degustation menu gives you the opportunity to try a set number of dishes and cocktails for a fixed price - these range from 99zł to 429zł depending on the number of items! Speaking of drinks, there are 20 wines in stock and even a menu of 16 different types of champagne. However, the strongest suite in Eliksir is the cocktail bar. There are 300 types of alcohol in stock and a tonne of mixers, with the math working out to thousands of possibilities! We were particularly fans of a cocktail series dedicated to various place names in Tri-city. While we found the food tasty enough, it all took a while and arrived on the chilly side. A night bending the credit card on the cocktails while listening to the live jazz music (Fridays and Saturdays only) seems to be the recommendation here.
