We always knew it was the Power Rangers cathedral, and it certainly provides an interesting juxtaposition to the other house of God found just a short walk away. The Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral was built in 1967 and looks unlike any cathedral you may have seen — the design came from the mind of Sir Frederick Gibberd and the influence of the Cathedral of Brasilia. The interior is equally forward-thinking.
