Ginger's Comfort Emporium

The word ‘emporium’ is massively underused in modern shopping circles, so we’re more than happy to shine some light on this place. The ice cream is plenty excellent too, which helps! Found on the first floor of Affleck’s Palace in the Northern Quarter, Ginger’s Comfort Emporium is an ice cream van for grown-ups, although anyone who has lived in the north will have to be assured that that isn’t what you might think. The flavours are all sorts of creative too, eschewing vanilla and chocolate in favour of things like pear and tonka bean or chai spices.
