Established in 1981, the Greater Manchester Police Museum pulls back the curtain on the day to day life of the bobbies on the beat, from back in the day to the here and now. You won’t find a better archive of policing in the Greater Manchester area, and it also allows locals and visitors alike to pick the brains of the police and forge a better relationship between the citizens and the men and women employed to protect them. Quite an important place, all things considered.
