We’re always looking for curious quirks to enhance our beer experience, and Manchester’s Peveril of the Peak has plenty of the things. The lime and yellow exterior attracts attention from the get-go, but it is the all-too-often ignored football table that really wins out here. Introduced in 1955, it is said to be the oldest continuously in use table football, erm, table in the country. The ale selection is more than decent too, which is probably quite important as well.
