The magnificent cathedral domes and elaborate, wooden buildings the Pühtitsa Convent in Kuremäe are a must-see for anyone touring the area. Founded in 1891, it's Estonia's only Orthodox convent, and its churches and grounds are open daily to visitors. Nuns give tours for a small fee.
