A 15-minute hike from the centre, Aparaat is the place to go if you're looking for the city's hippest and hipsterest dining spot. This buzzing Mecca of cool-dom makes its home in the courtyard of the Aparaaditehas, an old factory building that's been taken over by the local art and culture scene. Designers here have done a fantastic job of retaining the restaurant's converted warehouse feel while creating a bright, comfortable space to sample the casual menu. This includes a decent selection of vegan items as well as simple, well-made meat dishes. Popularity has made it noisy and busy, so we recommend you book ahead.
