Far from your typical museum visit, the largest sports museum in the Baltics is packed with action from start to finish. Jump and climb in a historical gym, race like a pro in the rally simulator, get nostalgic in the retro room or test your reaction speed.
With fun challenges and virtual reality experiences combined with sports history, you’ll realise that one visit just isn’t enough. The permanent exhibition ‘The Story of Estonian Sport’ gives a closer look at the country’s sports history, from early championships to Olympic victories. See medals, personal items from athletes, old videos, and rare photos that show Estonia’s sporting spirit. Look out for smaller exhibitions throughout the year. The Sports Museum is located in the centre of Tartu: just a few minutes’ walk from the Town Hall square.
