Mandala

Just off the main square, Mandala is a worthy destination for those who want to fill their bellies with Nepalese, Chinese or Thai cuisine. Though there's admittedly not too much to the design (it's just one very roomy room with yellow-saffron walls), we found it to be a cut above most of Tartu's pan-Asian restaurants both in terms of food quality and friendly service. We'd tell you to save room for dessert, but that might be a challenge.
